Seeing the enthusiasm of young writers who want to learn all they can about the world of writing is always so inspiring! On Saturday, April 22, I had the opportunity of presenting my session, ‘Words and Games’, to young writers in grades 4 to 8.

It was fabulous to see their enthusiasm about all things writing and a pleasure to sign their notebooks after (I got to practice my autograph signing!)!

I also enjoyed being in the company of other writers and authors from across Alberta. Thank you to all those who organize and help with the Calgary Young Writers Conference (CYWC)! Being part of the Conference for the third year in a row was a pleasure!

Barbori Garnet is the author of The Gift of Journaling: Writing as a Path to Discovery and Home at the Office: Working Remotely as a Way of Life. Barbori helps women and men find their stride in life - walking with God, work, health, and more - through journaling. She enjoys using the gifts God has given her in the areas of writing, music, art, and aromatherapy.
